Why come to see me?

Because I understand the challenges of taking care of yourself when you're working hard; I know what it's like to be a mum and feel like your own needs are at the bottom of your do-to list; I have overcome health challenges of my own and remember all too well the feeling of being trapped in a cycle of exhaustion. Together we can work to make you feel better and ultimately to feel your very best - nourished, energised, rested and able to cope with the demands of your life.

You may just want to feel more energised and less tired; you may be looking for solutions for your chronic PMS; you may be struggling with PCOS or endometriosis; you may be thinking about trying to conceive; you may have spent what feels like forever trying to shift that fat around your middle; you may be approaching or slap-bang-in-the-middle of menopause and feeling overwhelmed or just lousy.

Wherever you are in your journey as a woman, we can work together to make you feel better than you do today.

What to expect

First of all, I will email you a nutritional questionnaire which includes a food diary. This needs to be returned to me before our initial consultation. This allows me to begin to build a picture of your health concerns and history.

Your first consultation will last around an hour. I want to get to know you and what has brought you to this point in your health.

I will create a personalised nutrition and lifestyle programme specific only to you. I may suggest supplements for the short term. I may also recommend functional tests if there are outstanding or long-term health concerns. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. I will never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. Where necessary and if possible, I will work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in your care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided. This can and should be a team effort.

Follow-ups can be in person or via Skype and last around 30-40 minutes.
